I had a procedure done on Monday and have been laid up in bed; probably will be for another week. I made sure I had a few boxes to go through, but not too much. I have a lot of inventorying to do and other stuff that has piled up.

The two cent boxes I picked up last weekend were both mostly 2013's. I opened one last night and got about 100 coppers, 1 wheat cent and 2 Canadian. Have opened about 10 rolls of the 2nd box and got 1 more wheat cent. I have another box stashed away somewhere.

I opened $150 in nickels a couple nights ago, accumulated from various bank branches I hit on a trip last week, and did really well. 4 war nickels, 2 2009s ( P & D), a good amount of pre-1960 including 2 1938's, and two nice foreign coins I hadn't seen before: a Swiss 20 Rappen and a 2011 20 pence.

I have another unopened box of nickels yet to go through.

Also finally put my 1938-61 nickels in an album. I'm missing most of the key dates, but I have a few more semi-key ones than I expected to.

Once I run out of stuff to open, I think I'm going to sort through my copper cents and get some ready to sell. I need to reconcile my bank account with my inventory and see how far off it is after 3 months of buying and dumping...

Stay tuned for the next episode of Post-Op CRH Guy Adventures.

Yeah, I thought it had been a while since you posted anything. Nice Nickel book! You'll have to send out the "sons" to get you some more boxes. Good luck with the road to recovery.

Nice feel better

Glad to see I'm not the only one behind on my inventorying, etc. Good luck with your recovery!

What is the date on the rappen?

Also, the UK "puzzle set" is pretty cool. Do you have any of the other ones for the set. I completed mine when I went on vacation to Scotland (I was missing the 50 pence and 1 pound. I get the 5 pences the most through dime rolls).

It is a 1985.

I didn't know about the puzzle set. I think I might have a 10 pence around somewhere; I'll have to see if it is from that set as well.
