I work in a hospital on the medical equipment. We were put in charge of installing new batteries on "all" the RN mobile computers. These batteries are the size and weight of small car batteries. I asked my manager if I could have all the old batteries if I got rid of them. He says sure go ahead.

I have made 2 trips to the recycle so far my take has been $87.00. Making another run today. We still have 23 more of these units left. I have about 3 hours all told tied up in it right now. Not bad in my book.

Word to the wise..... Don't tell anyone what you are doing with the batteries or what you are getting. Your boss or some suit from above will get wind of this and they will end it all, trust me.

Been there, done that.
