Lead GI and Native American Figures

Found these this morning while trying to help my mom find her septic system. Didn’t find the cover (trash everywhere) but nabbed these little beauties 2 feet from each other. I have found civil war figures in her yard several years ago. Does anyone have a date range on these?

The soldier looks to be one made by Barclay, an American toy company, between 1935-1942ish. They also made NA figures.

I have the exact indian figure - found mine in R.I.

I found lot of early 1900s coins near it late IH pennies and early wheats and 1900 barbers near my indian - it may date near 20s my guess

Dirtwisher, Your soldier is in fact a Barclay, as mentioned by Neohiodetectorist, but more specifically, one of the "Podfoot" series, number 948 in their catalog, named, "Soldier, Running." and were in production from the early 1950's until 1971. I cannot find your Indian Chief in my reference books. Based on his miniscule size, he may have been a Cracker Jack prize or the like. None the less, the artwork used to create him rings of the 1930's. Congrats on the great finds, Sub

Thanks, Sub! I should get my civil war guys out if I could remember where they are. They’re all either headless, legless or both. I think kids used to line these up and shoot them?
