Found this today in the yard of an old farmhouse in Kansas, anywhere from 1900 to present as far as I know could be older, I thought a bullet at first but it has a fairly uniform thickness and I believe a pattern on one side maybe on both, and rust on lead is unusual for me… it’s probably a long shot but anyone seen anything like this before?

That lead object is a Bag Seal.
The Dragon or Scorpion of the stamped
object is very cool, and I haven't seen them all,, but
yours might be unique!
Great Find!
How old is that Wheat Cent...??

Cool hadn’t thought of that, gives me a direction to look, the penny is just for scale not found together but it’s a 1917 and could be from the same yard, I’m sure I’ve got a photo and notes where it came from but I don’t have it on hand

Has, what we refer to as a Flaming Bomb (Actually a Flaming Shell) Ordnance mark on it. Looks like it might have US on the other side. So this would have a military connection to it, which I think is cool.

Would have been used to seal supplies (Ammo, etc) destined for military use.

See link for more information on it.
