Was out looking for arrowheads along the river bank yesterday. Ended up finding this guy on a part that is typically submerged but the water was low. I don’t have any clue if native Americans used to cast lead weights, I know lead was used by them for other things though. Could anyone help me out with how old something like this could be? Found in central Ohio.

Looks like a bullet made into a fish weight

Lots of documented NA history in Ohio. I’d try to contact the state archeology-anthropology department. Good luck with your find.

If it had been found on Oak Island it be good enough for an entire episode contemplating what on earth it could possibly be or mean.
