Seems like it could be a bullet from the ends but it's very crude looking so probably not and it's large. Just seeing what it could been used for or is it just scrap from a project? Found at 1901 site.

Looks like it was used to plug a hole, maybe in masonry.

Not sure diameter, but would say it’s a modern bullet that hit something. What’s the diameter
