Leg Two... Comfort to Galveston, TX.

On the 12th, PeteyGirl and I motored from Comfort, TX to Galveston. Upon arrival, I showed her the dunes TimC (twin RIP) and I slept behind as 16 year old runaways. The beachfront convenience store we ate at is no longer there. PG and I stayed two nights at G, right on the beach. Nice view!


Next to the RV park was this "cigar" boat from the BVIs. If I can get a hitch to fit my Jeep, I might have to buy it!


We detected for two days and got some change and trash. This is day two so PG is wearing something over the LOBSTER TAN she got!
She is using a Garrett PI and I used my ancient Impulse 8.

Here are some of the Historic buildings we saw downtown. This was a PLUSH PLACE back in its day!

(I have no idea if the 1836 date is commemorating an event or if the day the statue was erected. Maybe someone can look it up? TTC
