Legend question

Supposed to be receiving my Legend on Tuesday so I've been familiarizing myself with the owner's manual.
My question is: does the Legend not have MUTE?
I use a Garrett carrot and MUST use the MUTE function on my Simplex when I turn on the carrot because of the noise. Or does it not make all the noise like the Simplex?
It's also handy when someone wants to talk to you.

Noise on my Simplex when using my Nokta Pointer, so if the Legend overlooks the use of that pointer, then I'll buy it...!
