I think getting more disabled vets or disabled individuals in general involved in our chosen interest would be great

That is a fantastic idea. How do you think it can be done ? Wounded Warrior Project is known for these types of healing and rebuilding efforts. BTW. Thank you for your service. I admire you for following your dream. Get out there, and get some history. - Rick

Gotta find a connection somehow with the organizations and someone with a passion for such a project.

I have the passion, the gear, the boat and the knowledge but I am about $1,000 each person down range here in the boonies of the Bahamas, That's just to get to me. Accommodation, food etc wouldn't be too bad once here but the cost of gas is the other issue.

If there is a person in a similar situation to me in the warm water of the USA then it's much cheaper and easier especially in Florida. The Warriors are great guys to have on any boat at any time.......

Great idea SADS! You might get in tough with these guys: SUDS Diving | Soldiers Undertaking Disabled Scuba They work to help disabled vets learn to dive. After learning, diving for some treasure would be a great next step!
