Here is one frame of my quartz points. The other frame is larger and I’m still filling it up. I find maybe 1 quartz point for every 20 chert points. Let’s see some of those quartz points everyone has found. You don’t worry about posting too many you won’t hurt my feelings.

Just the opposite up here in the Northeast. Mostly Quartz here. I’d say half of every point I find is made of Quartz.
 

Here's a few of mine I found at the same site in Central Georgia. My phone is terrible at taking pictures in unnatural light; especially dealing with quartz.
Quartz is a real bugger to photograph graph!

This was a total 1-off, and I was blown away finding it where I did. So well preserved from the clay surrounding it for so long!!
 

Thanks for sharing those with us Yakker. The quality of the quartz here leaves a lot to be desired. Mostly vein quartz in my area.
 

Nice points everyone. Roughly 50% of the points in my area are quartz, (NE NC)
