Due to our soil conditions most old copper English coins we find are badly corroded. But once in a while if we are lucky one like this pops up.

Can we see some better pics? My opinion would be historic era hair pipe / tube. Things did get traded, but it looks more like a rolled copper piece, rather than a hammered / formed copper piece. Just my opinion and a great find either way.
