Light bronze/brown on obverse quarters?

I picked up several rolls of quarters yesterday and got about 20 that are in awesome shape, varying years (2005-2008). My curiosity is why are they a light bronzish tint?

In the attached pic the top row are the ones I am referencing.

Really?

They aren't that old of coins, and i've got several books of coins that never taken on this look (some have been in books for 20 years). Seems odd for that to be the explanation.

Anyone else?

It is environmental toning caused by storage. Most likely, they are the enders of a roll that was stored in the original packaging. The enders are tossed when the roll is finally cracked open to reveal the untarnished coins.
