Lightweight but nice

After four hours in the water, I went home with this. It's marked 750. equivalent to 18K.
The weight is a measly 1.86 gram, very thin. The design is all hand cut and the metal is dual toned.

Yesterday was a 6 hour day and for my troubles, I scored 12 .50 cal casings and 8 .50 bullets.

Nice to find big fat heavy ones, or giant diamonds, but at least it didn't get past you!

Gary, I don't know how is is up your way, but down here the crowds are truly thin. The weather has moved the sand around some and I think thats why I find the little that I do.

WTG. Nice ring.You definately earned that one with a 6 hour hunt.As for the 50 cal. casings,
I have not found any down here yet.Plenty of bullets,but no casing.I think all of the bullets
are pumped in from way out where they did practice firing in the old days.I don't know
where the casings went.Maybe they haven't pumped/dredged that area yet.I agree that the
sand is moving some now,as I found some older blackened coins on the last hunt,and did
score one ring,which was only titanium.The equinox is today,so hope things start changing
some-weather and sand.HH Joe

congrats on the ring, it looks really nice.

That makes 3 of us yesterday that found 50 cal casings. I know mine has been there for quite an number of years covered in a few feet of sand, so maybe with the erosion and the weather changing the old goodies will start to surface again.

Great ring! I love looking in the scoop and seeing the shine of gold. Just doesn't seem to happen enough for me......lol
