Afternoon hunt produces high yield silver AND it's autographed as well. Put it in a cargo pocket and forgot about it until I got home. It was more/less smashed flat and I tried to reshape with limited success. Wasn't sure whether it was a keeper until I began cleaning it up. Noticed a name etched on the reverse and assumed it was the owner. Did an internet search and lo/behold...it's a handmade Zuni Indian pc. with a well known silversmith's name engraved on it. Augustine Pinto Zuni - "Turquoise Needlepoint Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet". Wt (incl turquoise) = 30.9 grams.
Also picked up two other sterling pcs...a "Puff" heart and a private camp merit pendant. Altogether, 42.6 grams!!! The rings are junk
, as is the other pendant (?). Did score $3.36 clad, incl one '53 D wheatie. Pics follow. HH!
