Hello everybody.

The bottle was an eyeball find out in the woods, little surface trash at this spot,
but there it was sitting as if it was dropped that day. Looks kinda old
to me, don't know bottles at all. The chauffeur badge was found in the
woods too, about 2 miles away from the bottle. Been taking my detector
for a few hikes, getting a bit of exercise ;D

Nice digs. I took my cousin to an old farm house. He was using my CZ6a and he found a real nice 1922 Mi. chauffeur badge. Congrats.

The badge is awesome! WTG! Is there embossed words on the bottle? How far does the mold line go up to the top? Does it go over the top of the lip? under the lip, or under the neck?

Nice finds all around. Ive nabbed two of the Mi chauffer badges so far. A 21 and a 24 as well.....Great day to be out for a walk about.

nice finds! congrats on the silver and nice badge! I dug this one back in June

Thanks all,

Mike- it looks like the mold line stops under the lip, at which point there is a mold line that goes
round the bottle where the lip attaches. On the side of the lip are mold lines, one that
matches up with the mold line running up the neck, the other mold line does not match
up ( is off by about an 1/8 of an inch.) There are no embossed words, just the marks on
the bottom. The glass seems to have numerous bubbles in it.

Good luck,
HH.

Nice silvers and very nice chauffeur's badge  I've found 2 chauffeur's badges and they were both in really bad shape, it looks like the old Michigan ones hold up well.

Awesome badge. Haven't found one of those yet. Nice eyeball on the bottle. Congrats on the Silver digs also :icon_thumleft:

Nice finds. Silver and the badge are cool. Grats. :icon_thumleft:

Nice badge and silvers B! Being a bottle nut, I would head back to that site with a shovel, no telling what's buried below. That brown bottle would definitely go in the collection.

Congrats on the great finds :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

Nice finds BB1. Your badge is such an awesome relic.....need to find me one someday. :icon_pirat: The brown bottle is cool too.

Keep digging!
