staying the weekend at Grandpa and Grandma's .
Grandpa found him on the front porch with a can , a jar , and a claw hammer .
"Whatcha got there, boy?"
"Just sompin I mixed up with my chemistry set ,"replied Johnny . He took a squirming nightcrawler
from the can , dipped it in the jar , and then drove it 6 inches into the oak porch bannister with the claw hammer.
Impressed , Grandpa offered to trade him a new bicycle for the jar . They shook hands .
Next weekend Johnny arrived at Grandpa and Grandma's house and there , in the front yard , was
a new full dress Harley wrapped in ribbons and bows and a sign "For Johnny".
"Oh Grandpa !"Johnny exclaimed as he wrapped his arms around him ,"You shouldn't have!"
