I love shopping the Goodwill stores in the area, cause people will clean out houses or grandparent's belongings and just donate 'em without going through 'em. It's always a great (and cheap) place for me to find the older style camera parts I need, records, books, etc.

This weekend, a small leather pouch in their glass display caught my eye. When I unzipped it, I found an old Minolta-16II submini camera! Think, James Bond Spy Camera! Uses 16mm movie film and is incredibly small.

Not so valuable, money wise, but a great find for a camera geek like me!

I have that camera, too! It uses 110 cartridge film. I don't think you can find it anymore, though.

As a fellow collector/buyer/seller of antique and vintage cameras and equipment, that is a fantastic score... :icon_thumright:

That was a pretty pricey camera back in the day. Congrats!

Cool camera! Hope you can get some film for it.

I had the exact same camera in 1961 in the Navy. Pictures weren't that great but was easy to carry.

That a cool find , I like things like that . Even though you can not find film anymore for the camera. I do not think you can even get the film developed anymore , but not sure on that.

Goat Hill Photo has the film and Blue Moon will develop the roll for 4 bucks

Thanks everyone for the film/processing links! I'm anxious to get this baby up and running...

The action seems immaculate. No slop in the advance or shutter. The aperture and shutter speed dials work great. No dents or dings. Leather pouch shows some pocket wear, but it's in great shape otherwise!

I'll see if I can post some pics once I get this little gem loaded and fired!

I have a nice Sony camera that stores pic on a 3 1/4 inch floppy disk. It's yours if you (or anyone) wants it, just pay shipping, probably $11.95 by Flat rate mail. PM if interested.
