Little yellow "daisy" birds...American Goldfinch & mystery yellow bird :)

They're just so "bumble bee" small & cute looking....sitting & picking out the tiny seeds on the itty bitty daisy's. You'll have to zoom in on these.:)

And just got a peek at this yellow bottom bird, don't think it's a Goldfinch, it's larger...anyone know what it may be?

 very welcome 3xflyfisher :)

Want to add that maybe these little birds are not the "American" ones but the "lesser Goldfinch" maybe...anyone know? :icon_scratch:

Up here in my area the number of Goldfinches has dropped dramatically. I have seen only three males this year so far.

the Iowa state bird...they blend well in the sunflowers. I'll have in my sunflowers in the back yard when they bloom

Sorry old digger...maybe they're just late this year & will show up soon?:dontknow:

Really...Iowa state bird, how nice! Do you have the giant sunflowers tamrock? If so, can these little guys open those seeds? Like to see a picture of that if so.:)
