MD Dog,
I have a few horses as well and they are starting to look a lot prettier as the gas prices grow in stature.
It wouldn't take much to reinvent the wagon if they reach 10.00 per gallon.

I know the price of a horse will go up as well.

horse back is fine for the small errands, but harnessing em up for wagon duty would get real old real fast.

Mom still has a couple of horses and we trained one to a buggy. I guess I could hang out with her! Buying gas sure doesn't look appealing even now so I am not sure if I would want to go much if it was $10 a gallon!
