I takes a lot of 'patience' with a young horse.
I handled my young horse 'daily', & when I first got on him, He never gave me any problem.

Fossis...................

beautiful creature, when are you arriving at my place with it ;)

back in my day I used to break horses.
and not the hard way tried it once and dislocated my knee... or the mare did anyway
she was fresh off the planes . BLM horse wild and free roaming horse ,..man was she rank.
my main meathod was gental breaking them
bitting them up each day for a week and then side to side
then get on and they would crow hop a bit but then knew they were broke.

Hello Ima,

Although I have owned horses before, (xwif), this one belongs to a friend.
Used to ride time to time over the years...

but I'm NOT a horseman...

Would you give me advice for loading horses that are generally untrained, poorly trained, or barn sour?

I'd just like to be as easy on them as possible.
They hurt themselves so easily...

Thanx in advance!

...and anyone else, too.
I'm always open to advice!
