Here's a frame that I've been continuing to work on over the years. It's not really ever finished, but when I get a nice piece to stick in there I'll either kick another one out or make more room. In fact we've added a few more pieces that will go into this frame back in June so it's not quite up-to-date yet. Most of these have come from the northwest Illinois counties of Rock Island and Henry. There are a few from Mercer and Knox also. The longest blade (upper center) is hixton and measures a bit over 6" long. I try to focus on early archaic stuff as the quality generally is better, but if I come across a nice later piece I'll make room for it too. Of interest is a KRF drill that was found in Henry County. The pic is not great, but it will give you an idea anyway. Materials include Moline, Burlington, Avon, Payson, and Hixton.

Hippy that is a spectacular looking frame. I really enjoy the early archaic pieces as well. Looks like each one is a very fine example of the type. You always come up with some really museum quality authentic pieces. Looks great.
