Located this ,dug to it,thought it was going to be huge so I did not dig it up. I told the landowner about it and they went and dug it up. It is about 18 inches tall. Anyone have any info on it?

18 inches tall? Maybe a churning pot?

However, all of the churning pots I have seen have been out of clay pottery. Granny use to have one that was tall like that but was made out of some type of clay.

Outstanding, glad to see you figured it out.

Someone probably churned a lot of butter in that thing.

The guy that dug it up is actually the one that figured it out. I could not find anything on it! I will definatly be going back there.
