Loden's first find
My 8 year old great nephew Loden visited us from Sonoma County and I took him walking today. Here he is proudly displaying his first find ever, a nice archaic Big Sandy side-notched blade. He found a few other things including a broken axe and immediately took to the hobby like a fish to water. By the end of the hunt he was identifying local flint types and pointing out fire rock to his uncle, whom he skunked by the way.
