They are from the company curtec! May you found a dealer in the US. They are made in Germany and are real best quality!!

I have put in there acetone, acid and all kind of stuff which did n´t harm them in any way. They are made out of HDPE and the containers and also the rubber seal inside the lid are nearly indestructible.

Your idea of PVC pipe is a good one, it will provide maximum protection with the lowest cost.
