Looks to be a chinese cash coin. Their difficult to tell what century it's from. Perhaps some one here will know, but you might have to take it to some one to find out. They've been found just about every where. Nice find!! HH

yup, like rvb says, ive seen quite a few of them posted. i dont know how to date them but it could be quite old. was there a large chinese population in your area back in the day. a lot of times chinese labor was brought in to build railroads. just a thought.

ive been doing some research and belive this coin is a ch'ien lung t'ung pao san boo coin. lol not easy to say. it says its 1600s coinage from china. if i have the right info. still cant find any for sale to see what it might be worth. and cant find a price guide for chinese coins. maybe my best coin yet?
