I was lucky enough to get out again today. Went to a nearby neighborhood beach (swim club) and hit the sand. Found a large bronze Japanese clover-type charm which I turned over to the local Rec Director (who was kind enough to let me into the locked gate) in an attempt to find the rightful owner and get this...a little over $24.00 in clad (only 1 wheatie in the bunch). All in all, a great day!

Hi GR!
Wow, what a day indeed.
Congrats on all that clad.
And... good job for being honest and trying to find the owner of the charm.
You will be rewarded by the MDing gods.

Smiles!

WOW! $24 in clad?? I'm sore from a 3 hour tour digging a beach for nails this afternoon. I can't even imagine how your back feels after $24 worth of clad. So what is that... maybe 200-250 holes dug?

WOW! Way to go! As i always say...

CLAD = SILVER.

24 bucks in clad equals...

~ 3 silver dollars

~ 6 silver halfs

~ 12 silver quarters

~ 24 + buffalo nickels

~ 500 wheat cents

As always...thanx for the kind words one and all! You better believe I'm tired! The best part is I still have about 40% of the beach to detect and I didn't even get into the water yet! Strangely enough, I searched this beach very early Easter morning and pulled in $22.20 in clad that day. It's funny though, no jewelry to be found...go figure! ???

Jeez! That's the first story I have where someone actually covered gas gas, lunch, and beer all in one trip. WAY TO GO!!

Makes my $2.97 in chump change from the mulch park look like....well....chump change.

Now that is a lot of clad for one day. Got yourself a good site there. Hope you find silver and gold next time you go. HH Ted
