Just got my package from Kellyco at my office this afternoon, it's my Minelab 6" DD 18.75 KHz Search Coil, can't want to use it this weekend!

Thinking of taking to it one of the local baseball fields tomorrow early in the morning. I was reading that someone on the board finds a lot of silver in local ball fields

Well I had a chance to test out the new coil and I must say it does appear to pick up smaller targets at a greater debt than my stock coil did.

I had a chance to go out to a local baseball field that is about 4 blocks away from my house, which I believe was built in the 60's. The only notable things that I found over the weekend were a 1962 Nickel and a 1965 Quarter, looks like I missed silver by one year

I still have to do more homework on my location to see were would be good hunting areas for old coins, but I am starting to get the hang of the 305 and I really like it.
