Hey has anyone ever seen or heard of a gold tube roughly 7 inches long and maybe 1/2 in diameter?

I found one the other day in the ocean. It's yellow and appears to be gold, but was kind of tarnished. I'm not a treasure hunter just found it, so trying to figure out what it could be...

So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

I had a few opinions but the more I read the Op decided this was a potential inappropriate bogus post - 2nd post

OK so I checked and it seems to be a bronze pin of some kind. I was hesitant to post an image at first but here is one.
Dimensions are 15cm x 2cm with a slight taper at one end

When cleaned the color was SOOOO golden! After a day though it seems to fade... Not like gold.
