Looking for buried gasline in MARS Pa.

Hello, I am in Colorado and have a friend in Mars Pennsylvania who is trying to locate an underground natural gas line before he starts digging for some remodeling. If you are in that area and would like to do the fellow a foveor please let me know?

He is not a detectorist (at least not yet) but is a good guy anyway.

I think 811 is all you have to dial; Columbia Gas advertizes this all the time.

Each state has the equivilant to DIG-ALERT...

I don't know about PA but here it is 1-800-dig-rite

Not to mention....some gas lines are plastic and deeper than a standard detector will go.

Used to be 1-800-Pa1call for utilities....been a lot of years since I needed it tho.
