Don't live down that way now but checkout Port Gibson and some area around Grand Gulf. Most of my hunting was around Port Gibson and Vicksburg when I live in Brandon MS.
Port Gibson was a favorite of mine. Always dug alot of bayonets down there. Seems they threw them away rather than get hung up in the gulley's and ravines. Very vine thick and spread out mess of a battle, troops getting lost alot, battle started at night. Good Luck
