I received no replies, however a vendor at another forum contacted me. I am surprised that the sponsors here didn't even make an effort to reach out to a customer.

I decided to wait till someone has them in stock. When the Equinox was released in Feb I contacted every Minelab dealer in the USA to see if they had any and after 3 days I found one but it was a lot of work. I was on a cpl of lists but the way they were trickling in I decided I didn't want to wait months or even weeks. I want a 6" coil but will wait until they are available in stock from a dealer.

I am happy with my standard coil but from the reviews I know of a lot of places the 6" coil would work well.

I have one from the dealer who sold me my 800. He was only allocated 3 and I just happened to call him to ask him about the 6” coil and he said I’ll have 3 tomorrow one is already sold and I’ll sell you one if you what it. He said he’d only sell it too people who bought the Equinox from him. Right time right place. Works well from heavy iron spots and the woods. Here in Louisiana our woods are very dense so that 11” is to big to get in those tight spots. But I still use my 11” for everything else. Good luck

I did. I posted here on a sponsored site. Like I did elsewhere and they responded with-in two days.
