It looked good before but I like it more now. I think it’s mustard chert. 1st one this color. Found it in an area where trading was a big thing.

Does look like you’re chert but that’s a long trade. Not impossible . Creek find not River find. Thanks

It’s a Woodland period and falls into the Copena period which makes sense cause I have found some Copena points out there.

I tried water and toothbrush 1st but didn’t work so I used some vinegar and brush. Didn’t let it soak a long time. Looks like a possible bullseye but I didn’t want to take it too far down.

I haven’t been able lately much to get back. Little rain but nothing earth shattering. In the summer that creek gets a lot of algae in it and is very hard to see.
