Not sure what you have there but, it certainly looks old. Cool find.
 

Looks like a 1723 to me-King George I (farthing?)

Nice find-The reverse side could use s little dry tooth picking. The coin looks to be in very good condition.
 

Could be a half penny-what is the diameter?

Yes it is a 1723, but it is a KGI Halfpenny, not a Farthing
