looks like a gun

Found this today. It looks like it may be half of something, the square end is not broken off it has a smooth edge. It is about 7 inches long and about an inch wide. Looks like half of a toy pistol to me but I don't think that is waht it is. Please help! Thanks!

I was thinking Cadweld flint igniter (striker) too. Or some variant.
Is it hollow or solid? These are sheet metal and mostly hollow.
