Yep -- But you should point out that we are an all Volunteer organization whose members help people find their lost stuff for FREE !!! No rewards expected or requested, ever !!!

Been involved for a year and its a great group, I hope more ppl join and help out. Being a part of this group only helps promote us as good people who help the public and helps shake off the the image painted by those who try to villainize us.

Great group! I've only had the opportunity to try finding one item. The family found it before I was able to get there. Someday!!

I have tried on 3 different occasions to help out someone in my area....and EVERY time, someone has already contacted them....Which I think is Actually great!..the Site really works!...I just want to feel like a hero once..lol

I joined last November. So far all reports have been no less than 2-3 hours from here.
Waiting for closer. I'll be there!
Last year I had a few friends to a site I had got permission to hunt. Twenty min's in, friend pulls a huge 14 kt. 1989 class ring up, 4in's down, by a oak tree I had hunted around before. Inscribed with initials. Two weeks later she handed it back to the owner, who's girlfriend had lost it from a chain around her neck. (Don't know why, I think she launched it. Lol) He had it only a couple months.
I want that feeling! Although I sometimes joke with others, that in a way I really want uninscribed jewelry. Lol
Weeks later I found my first silver at a tot lot. An uninscribed, child's crucifix. That struck me....
Gave it to my 9yr old niece.

It really does make you feel like a hero . I contacted a Lost & Found add back in the 90's . Gentleman lost a Birthstone ring ( 4 kids ) in his yard during a party . He recently found out he had cancer and it did'nt look very good for him . He wanted to find it so he could pass it on to his children . After showing me where he was in the yard when he realized it was missing , I located it within 15 minutes . He was in tears and thanked me 50 times and wanted to pay me . I of course declined payment . I usually will ask if they or a friend can find an old property to hunt with permission , I would greatly appreciate it . I recieved Christmas cards from the gentleman for 2-3 yrs after that . You really can't describe that great feeling it gives you to find a lost irreplacable item for another person , just because you can ....
