my next door neighbor told us a story about a park he used to go to when he was a kid.
he said it had a wading pool a ball field, consession stand and a play area.
now it is all overgrown with woods. and it was all closed down over 40 years ago.
well we found the wading pool today. checked it for about three hours.
we both found first. first caleb found a 1935 buffalo nickel it was the first for him. then we both found a couple wheat cents.
then i found a 1916 barber dime, that was a first for me.
and then caleb found a 1964 rosie.
and he found another 1935 buffalo.
then caleb found another buffalo.and we also found a spectater oppossum

Way to go!

Remember one thing! Keep going back over the same spots and go slow! Looks like it is hard to swing in that stuff, so if you have a small coil it will help. When I get in the tight stuff like that, I will tilt my coil and scan between close trees, using the edge of the coil to pick up the signals. If you are using a motion detector in the tight stuff, you can go up and down with the coil to pick up signals. You can also hold the pinpoint button on some machines when you want to check out some tight spots where you can't swing much. If the leaves and sticks are deep in places, you can rake over spots for better depth.

Good luck! There is a lot more goodies to be found there, so stick with it.

Forgot the most important tip............Have fun! HH
