lost park found

It's not that unusual for a municipality to abandon a spot. We have several wooded areas that used to be parks 75 years ago. The city acquired more desirable land for the parks and just pulled their equipment from the old parks. The old park lands remain in the city's possession because they don't want people building on the property, or they feel the land is a good future investment. The basic reasoning is that it is already off the tax rolls and paid for, so it isn't hurting the public to just let it sit.

heres a couple pics of the old wade pool. probably hit it next weekend if the weather cooperates.It is not private property just an old roadside park.
