Crazy erosion at "Erosion Beach" made for some fantastic hunting. I've gotten Silver just about every trip out not to mention handfuls of wheat cents. On the better days I got four to six Silver dimes.

Monday and Tuesday last week detecting went up a couple notches. First day I got a quinceanera ring which is unmarked but definitely Gold at 7.5 grams. Then Tuesday got a fatty wedding band at 14K and 8.1 grams.

Monday of this week I pulled out a 1962 Franklin half. This is my 2nd Franklin and from this beach and also my 5th Silver half (all from this beach).

Yesterday, Wednesday was really a fun day. First ring is a Buddhist themed. It came out just like it looks with no corrosion and I wanted it to be gold.but it's probably brass. A little while later I did get my gold! A nice wedding band at 14K and 5.25 grams. Just before leaving I got the small Silver ring with 2 out of the three red stones intact. I also got a small Silver religious medallion which I'll post along with the Silver.

These were found with the PI in wet sand.

HH Joe

PS: Did I mention I LOVE finding rings?

Hey SnT ... when you get down here give me a call and we can hook up for a couple of hunts. Erosion Beach should be pretty terrific this winter.

Good finds Joe. :icon_thumleft:
The title "erosion beach" has such a nice
"ring" to it. ;D
Strike while the metal is hot.

Great finds....what state are you in? :icon_thumleft:

State of Euphoria :headbang:... actually California close to both Seal Beach and Long Beach.

Would that first ring be of Mexican heritage ? 15 anos is 15 years which is the year that they celebrate their quinceanara or 15th birthday. Just a thought, I see a lot of those celebrations down here in Texas. Thanks, beautiful finds. Jim

You got it, Jim. In the past I've also found a portion of a quinceanara bracelet for a girl.

You always find the really good rings! Congrats again! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Nice finds. Hate that there will be erosion to our beaches when Irene goes through, although I am thrilled at the thought of getting out there come Monday morning.

Joe, Looks like ya did it again.... As Dan would say " you're making it look too easy" See ya on the Beach. Pete HH
