I went to a field that once held a school. It is mostly overgrown but they mowed a small area near the road. Weird grouping of finds consisted of late wheat pennies and early memorials and 4 IhPs including a toasted fatty. Later I got 3 more indians in the seated field

I also found another gold plated ring marked with nothing but 18k and a crown. Second one like this Ive found this year:BangHead:

Nice tribe of Indians! Congrats

Congrats. I see at least one IHP in there from the 1870s. Always a chance for the elusive 1877 when those dates are coming up.

You always seem to get some nice keepers whenever you go out. Congrats on having some great sites.

Thanks. Ive found 162 indians since last spring. I have found pretty much every year but a few from the late 60's, 71,72 and of course no 77 yet

Thanks. I seem to have no problem finding indians but its rare for me to see silver from the period in the hole. Now that my seated field has paid out that is

Just found my first Indian head today, pretty excited about it!!

Congrats, they will start to come more often now that you pulled your 1st. I only dug 2 in 2014 and 32 last year. I'm hoping to run into another tribe this year.

Despite the historic fraud, I'd say you did pretty darn good! Congratulations!

Congrats on the Indians, love finding those. As for the ring, that's a shame. I found a nice thick wedding band last year, totally brown, no trace of plating left. Inside was clearly stamped 14K. The nerve!

A good outing, and I swear that has to be the 5th one of those I have seen. Most from the eastern shore, one ..Cambridge area. Not sure where your at...

Nice stuff

I said you'd get 200

Toasted always rocks....so envious (read: Jealous) - Kidding!! - Please keep the pics/reports coming!!

Congrats on the great coins and the "Toasted" gold ring! Law of averages will come into play and you will find the real deal by just keepin' on keepin' on! (according to Joe Dirt) joedirt.webp

Cheers! Sub8-)
