Lots of silver, but no gold

The tides are really working for me this week, and I have to take advantage of the situation regardless of the holidays.

So my buddy and I hit a local beach just in time for the low tide. Vast amounts of real estate is ours for the taking... and of course we're the only ones out there

I couldn't believe my luck tonight. While the goal is always to get the gold, it's uncommon for me to find this much silver. I mean... I kept digging these rings... sometimes back to back. It was crazy.

So here's the take for the night:

1,841 yen --- about $24
Couple of junker rings
A few fishing weights (that will soon be cast into bullets)
50g of misc silver

The low tides over here are pretty good if you know where to go. There's plenty of loot to be found still, but damn, I want some G-O-L-D
