I was driving by a house n saw the front yard was totally torn up... the grass had been removed... I asked the owner if I could coin hunt... he said yeah until he reseeded the grass..... I found 62 coins total...... 35 Wheaties,,,, most from 1945-1950... oldest was a nice 1928,,,,, then 5 Silver Dimes...... the coolest part was that I found a set of keys.... gave them to the owner... he just bought the house... and they were to a door he didnt have keys to! He was very happy.... was a cool hunt

This guy minton is mistaken. Yards are a terrible place to hunt. Nothing at all in yards.

If you want to find TREASURE, then do not bother with old yards.

Old yards= Lots of old TRASH!

The parks are where the treasure hides.

I go where ever I'm given permission, regardless of how much trash. I love trash, its an indicator that people where about. Where the people were leaving trash, they leave treasure. I love clearing trash, its very satisfying. Do everywhere once is my moto (doesn't mean you won't do it 100 times!)
