I found this at a homesite the other morning. So far I can’t find an exact match in my searching. From what I can read of the backmark, it says “Horstmann Bros & Co” I can’t see the Phil or PhilA or NY that would make up the rest. Even after additional cleaning it’s just not visible. Hoping someone can give me more details.

The super-wide applied rim on your 3-piece ("Staff-Officer-type") Louisiana State Seal button means it is from the late-1800s.

Thank you very much. I couldn’t find much in the postwar ones but suspected it may be postwar by the backmark. Thanks again.
