Loyalist Button Saves the Day!

Got out with Tony for a full day of swinging on this beautiful Victoria Day. Hit an old favorite that had just been plowed and was rewarded with a Rev War pewter 36th Regiment button. Always happy to add a new Rev War to the collection no matter what the condition. Also picked up a few buttons, musket balls, part of musket side plate and an interesting piece of stemware...dates to the site as well. All in all a good hunt!

I'd say 98th as the 86th is Irish and the buttons I've seen have a harp design. Don't think you'll see many of these around... if any.

I have a similar piece of goblet stem, the twist inside the glass is pretty cool, from another place in time
