Luck ran out

I guess my run of luck has run out or been interrupted temporarily. We went out this morning and I didn't find anything of note. I did manage 3 hoop earrings and 93 cents in clad. Oh well maybe next time.

EmeraldEyes did much better than I with the clad. She got $2.45 and she also did better with jewelry although nothing that was worth anything. All junk. She found a cheap necklace and two earrings.

We met gamiller out this morning but he wasn't having much luck either unless he found more after we left. I didn't see any other hunters today. Since it's Father's day perhaps they are all staying home to celebrate! Well no matter, tomorrow is another day! I'll take what I found today and be happy.

Remember that even our junk has value. Clean it up as best you can. Collect 30/40 pieces, write up a little description telling about how they are treasure hunting finds and take a couple of pictures. Put it on Ebay and start your bidding at about .50ea for the whole lot ($15/$20). You will be amazed at what they often go for. Throw in a few .925 pieces and the price goes higher. Anyway, just an idea to get some value out of the "junk".

What an idea! You are right I've seen some real junk sell on Ebay!
