Stubborn me went back were I got chased yesterday in woods behind park I work at. Found this brass/copper tag or pendant thing. It has some letters but can’t make them out.

I will be proven wrong, but I dug something similar. Ended up being a garter/bra strap. Yours is different than the attached, but had the same “look”

I'd say a part if a bracelet or pendant if it has love on it.

That's what it is more than likely.
Now a garter strap with "Love" inscribed on it is a risky 😁
