I was dumping some dimes and nickels and asked my usual question about halves and "old large-size dollar coins", and they had $9 in halves, but they were all clad. Stopped at another bank on the way back, asked the question and three different tellers rounded up two loose halves and a taped-together wad of paper with "$10" written all over it. One of the halves was a 1968-D.

As I was walking out of the bank, I noticed that the wad was the wrong shape for $10 worth of halves. I opened it up and found ten Ikes!

Nope, but they still go for more than face on the bay. Quite a few different dates though, maybe I'll start a book.
