My first day working with Capt. Dom, Yvonne and Bart this season aboard the Tank. Other projects have kept me busy so far. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Congrats also to the Seahunter crew on a spectacular day.

Tom

Thanks Tom for posting the photos.

These coins we found off the main scatter pattern

trail prove just how rich our Jupiter Shipwreck Site actually is!

I was particularly pleased that these coins have iron oxide in their encrustations

and are particularly "chunky" and have great weight!

We can't wait to be digging a little deeper along the line we are on

tomorrow.... Oh by the way, this is the line we found the

ship's rigging on two weeks ago!

Awesome stuff!

So you are saying you are off the main scatter but along another line that you have been recovering coins along, plus parts of the ships rigging?

That's cool, but what does it mean, if anything? Another part of the stricken ship floated by here on its way to the bottom? Or the main park of the ship dropped goodies as it floundered in the surf here before dumping its main load somewhere else?

Very interesting...

That my friend is the two hundred million dollar question
my friend....

"Just Where is the Rest of the Wreck?"

We hope to do our best - with "out of the box" - thinking
and a new and fresh approach and that is the soap box I
am climbing up upon....

Re: Mad for Wrecks Strikes Again hunting for treasure off the "Tank" in Jupiter!

THINKING OUT OF THE BOX. (my specialty)

Perhaps there are Two 1600's treasure shipwrecks at Jupiter Inlet, sinking within 9 years of each other? One being a Marvilla, salvage ship fleeing a storm in the Bahamas?

Perhaps, when these ships sank at Jupiter Inlet the shoreline was 500 feet farther East than the present shoreline?

Perhaps the Indians salvaged a large portion of these Shipwrecks and buried the chests of Gold coins & bar, and cannon on what was then land, all the way back to the present shore line, and inside the Inlet?

Perhaps you won't find the bulk of the Treasure at the Ballast piles?

Just my thoughts. Humble
