I remember when I was in high school, I saw a guy with an RC chopper at a baseball field. I was talking to him while he was getting it ready to fly. He said he had just got it and said proudly that it was pretty expensive. He started it up and let it warm up for a little bit. It lifted off the ground about 15 feet and then nosedived to the ground. That thing must've broke into at a dozen pieces. All in about 45 seconds. Ouch !
