Madagascar gold panning adventures on virgin ground

Dear friends of gold panning,

This is short information from Mats & Katycia in Madagascar about our activities on proven gold bearing land in eastern Madagascar.

This country is still virgin ground.

In 2007 we will make prospectors investigations in our two properties in the Vavatenina auferious area, were we are neighbours to the Pan African Mining Company's property A-1, covering about 300 square kilometres.
Watch their website (Vavatenina) :
http://www.panafrican.com/props_Vavatenina.asp
(Their map is not correct)!

In 2006 we claimed:
100% of Vavatenina #1 = 25,00 square kilometres, patented claim, expires for extension
2015
100% of Vavatenina #2 = 18,75 square kilometres, patented claim, expires for extension
2015

In June 2007 we have added 12,50 more square kilometres west of Vavatenina #2, situated more remote and close to the rainforest.
By claiming additional land we now control more than 15 kilometres of Sahambendrana River, witch could be a target for a larger future dredge operation.

Our current mission is to identify the grades of values and gold mineralization by methodical prospecting and sampling.

We do prospecting by auger drilling on the surface, the banks and in the hills, were we also use a Gemini 3 deep detector.
In the minor rivers, we use a hydro energy method for dredging deep sample holes.

Our results may be offered professional mining companies active in Madagascar and to people abroad who are interested in sharing our experiences for adventure in Madagascar.

Basically are the following activities covered in our planning for second half of 2007:

1 - July-August:
No prospecting activity because of frequent raining and cold water in the streams.

Adventure and gold panning activities will be announced and offered on Ebay and other auction sites.
(See below).

The subscribers of our Newsletter will get all details first.

(Next newsletter is on the brink!)

2 - September-October 2007
Prospecting and sampling at a number of selected areas in Lakazana River system, in the eastern part of Vavatenina #2.
A selection of soil samples from the auger drilling program and concentrates will be
sent to Canada for fire assay for gold.

/The banks of this minor stream were partly worked by the French in two periods 1901-1916 & 1946-1949.
Past June, we made a 20 holes auger sampling test close to a former French old channel working. All samples showed up with fine gold./

3 - October - November 2007
Prospecting deep sample holes by dredging down through ancient alluvials all to the bedrock in special selected locations worth further discovery.
A selection of black sand concentrates will be sent to Canada for multi spectra analyses for precious metals and rare earth elements.

Building one more field station in Vavatenina #2 for prospecting materials storage.

The field station we set up in the village Antanambao in May will be opened for lodging our gold panning guests in October - November this year.

It's a no facilities home situated in the remote countryside of peaceful, green and unforgettable Madagascar.
A simple base for gold panning adventures on virgin ground for foreigners.

French, English, Malagasy & Scandinavian languages.
We have also minor skill in speaking German.

We hope that we as insiders in Madagascar by this message start a good movement for opening this beautiful island for a short number of international gold panners.

YOU ARE OF COURSE WELCOME TO FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO IS LOST IN THE GOLDEN METAL or PUBLISH IT IN ANY MEDIA.

Welcome!

We wish you a golden 2007

Hello ericwt,

Thanks for your replay.

First; about our e-mail address, written like this in our post: katyma_minerals A yahoo.fr

The reason for a "not proper" e-mail address is simple - spammers love to copy e-mail addresses in forums like this. We are not interested in Viagra, winning USD 100.000 or helping someone in Nigeria to get his money out of the country.

Next year may it be possible to connect ADSL from Tamatave were we are situated. Now we have to use a slow modem connection.

***
By this post we also take the chance to announce that we are not searching for investors who might be interested in putting their money into "our projecs".

We need to learn more about prospecting and we should be happy to share peaceful Madagascar with a handful people from other countries - lost in panning and the yellow metal.

One of the mayor profiles for the hobbyists and the professionals, Dave McCracken, was dredging Madagascar rivers a couple of years ago.
Almost surely, Dave will put this country in a top position when he compares Madagascar to other countries.
Do you agree Dave?

Please watch Dave and Ernie, and read his story about dredging the muddy waters of Madagascar:
http://www.goldgold.com/stories/muddymadagascar.htm

Enclosed to the post is a kind of simple prospecting map, covering a part of our claim Vavatenina #1, as an illustration of the richness of minor rivers in eastern Madagascar.

Thanks for your request.
