I got my first war nickel today and I got my first three ringer today after work. Really put a smile on my face. Would anybody know around the age of the 3 ringer?

That bullet has cannelures, little lines inside the rings. These were not used until the 1880s. The bullet is similar to a minie ball, but more modern.
